FAQs

 

Q. What do you need me to do in my request? 

I will send a questionnaire consisting of certain requirements such as:

  1. Picture references for what you want. Max 10  

  2. A written description of what you want.

  3. Non-negotiable things, (e.g. I need the character to wear a necklace)

  4. Vibes you want the painting to convey( somber, happy, excited, etc.)   

If you insist on sending a description here are some guidelines:

Example of a well-written description:

I want a throne room inspired by art deco with a queen sitting on it and two knights protecting her waiting for her demise. 

Example of a bad description: 

I want the throne room to be seen from a bird's eye view and there is a queen anxiously planning her escape on her throne. The tiles on the floor should have lotus flowers blooming and a bunch of knights on standby, waiting for a bunch of trolls to barge in to attack and defend their queen. I want this to happen during a sunset, where the clouds are pink and orange looking. 

When you are overly specific it makes it hard to explore options. Many of my clients love options. As long as I have a vague idea of what you want a character to feel or do that will be enough for me to explore the image. 

Q. How much freedom will I have in this commission?

I will be providing options for you to choose from. During each stage, I highly encourage you to give me feedback so that this commission will be a collaborative effort.

Q. Will I receive a printed-out version/ hard copy as well?

No. but I will be providing a high-quality jpeg version as well as a photoshop file.

Q. What art medium are you going to be using?

This commission will be digital art only.

Q. When should I pay you?

I only start working when I receive at least a half-payment deposit or full payment in advance. Unfortunately due to the amount of art theft that happens daily, this will ensure that there would be protection for me as an artist but also a better experience for my customers.

Q. Why won’t you accept my commission?

Depending on your request I may or may not accept it because 

  1. I would classify it as NSFW 

  2. I have too many commissions at the moment

  3. Overly specific request 

  4. I feel as though I am not the right person to be drawing it

Q. Could I get a refund if I don’t like the drawing? 

In the event I finish the drawing, this is a non-refundable commission, however, I will include two iterations or changes in each stage of the painting, to ensure the best quality image for you.

If you immediately change your mind without me having started on anything, I will refund you the money you have put in. If I have started ideation, depending on how much was done, I will give a partial refund.

Q. Do you draw NSFW content? 

No.
